I recently worked on this natural beauty for her wedding party at the Atlantis, Dubai. She wanted me to heavily focus on her eyes and keep everything else quite natural and subtle. Generally most Asian brides prefer going quite deep with the lip colors but I’m so glad we chose to go for a more neutral lip.
1) Prep the Skin – this is one of THE most important steps before starting any makeup application particularly Bridal. The skin needs to be moist, supple and well moisturized to handle all the powdering that comes in after.
Spritz Skindinavia Bridal Finish all over the face.
I then massaged the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm deeply into her face.
Moisturized lips with Vaseline Lip therapy.
2) Eye Details :
Applied ABH concealer in 2.5 all over the eyelids. I used a very little amount as the concealer has quite a thick texture. Blended it in with MAC Blending Brush in #286.
With a flat Damp MAC #242 Brush I applied KIKO Wet&Dry eyeshadow in 200 all over the eyelids.
Highlight : Motives Whipped Cream.
Crease : Swiss Chocolate from MAC for the Medium color, deepened with Vino from Motives. To add extra smokiness and depth, I used the Balck eyeshadow from my Creme de la Creme Palette from Saucebox Cosmetics.
Eyeliner – Inglot Creme Black eyeliner – also used inside the waterline.
Lashes : Red Cherry in #43 and #523 double stacked.
Eyebrows – Sleek Brow kit in in Dark. Set with ABH’s Brow Gel.
Concealer – Benefit Erase & Paste in Medium and mixed in with ABH 2.5 concealer. Set with MAC translucent powder in yellow to brighten the under eye.
Foundation – Dolce & Gabbana Perfect Matte Liquid FDT – I had to mix a few shades in to get the right shade of her skin tone.
Contour & highlight – Using the ABH Contour Palette in Sand (highlight) on top of her nose, and Earth on her cheekbones and sides of the face.
Blush – Motives Blush in Baby Doll & Lust. Applied Global Glow from MAC on top of cheekbones.
Lips – Absolutely IT Pro Longwear Lip Pencil from MAC and NYX soft Matte Cream in Stockholm.
